Some notes that may help
A more comprehensive service is available from Skipton with a half hourly service to Leeds and Bradford plus additional trains to Carlisle.
Senior citizens can buy a Senior Railcard giving 1/3rd reduction off most fares at Craven District Council offices for a discounted price of £10 provided they do not have a bus pass. Otherwise the full price of £20 is applicable and available from Skipton or Settle stations.
The Dales Railcard available from Appleby, Settle and Skipton stations gives 1/3rd off fares between Gargrave and Leeds, Bradford, Morecambe and Carlisle.
The station is not wheelchair friendly. Skipton would be the nearest boarding station.
There is a "help phone" but only on the Leeds platform.
The construction of a footpath to the bridge made by North Yorkshire C.C a couple of years ago is still outstanding.
A report on the condition of the station plus any complaints is sent to the Franchisee each week and has overall brought about improvements.
